The Exeter University Conservative Association

Many congratulations to all new freshers coming to Exeter this September! For any Conservative or politically-minded student wanting fun socials, lively debate and interesting speakers, look no further than the Exeter University Conservative Association. We hope that you will join us for our Freshers’ Week socials and sign up at the Freshers’ Fair.

As the fourth largest Conservative Association in the country, you can be sure of good company, fun socials and a warm welcome from our members.

So on behalf of the EUCA committee, congratulations on your results and we look forward to meeting many of you in September! Don’t forget your black tie! Our term card is currently being produced and will be released soon. The easiest way to stay up to date is to ‘like’ us on Facebook:

Our Social and Publicity Secretaries run a vast array of socials throughout the year including pub crawls (feat. the Armitage Shanks social), curry nights, fortnightly port and policy debates, day trips, clay pigeon shooting and of course our Winter Ball.

Our Speaker secretary will also be booking many political big-names into our diary to come and give a speech or take part in a Q&A. We have recently hosted Jacob Rees-Mogg, Sajid Javid, Johnny Mercer and Sir Desmond Swayne to name only a few.

It is no secret that Tories love to dress well, so we hope that you will approve of our selection of apparrel on offer. Spruce up your suit with a club tie and pin, available all year round. Currently on sale (May 2021) are our snazzy rugger tops. We will do another sale in Freshers’ Week. Contact the General Secretary for more information on how to order!

We know that campaigning doesn’t appeal to everybody, but for those that are interested we offer many opportunities to go canvassing in Exeter and beyond!

"Having joined late into my first term I found that EUCA to me was more than politics from the start. It's a home for great debates, enjoyable socials and some truly great people. I've enjoyed every minute being a society member."
Samuel Barnett
General Secretary
